Alor ( Alor Indonesian kabupaten ) is an Indonesian government district in the province of East Nusa Tenggara.

The county consists of the Alor Archipelago, in the extreme east of Nusa Tenggara, north of the island of Timor. It is subdivided into 17 districts ( kecamatan ) and 175 villages. Capital is Kalabahi on Alor.
Alor is the largest island, is divided into eleven districts to pantar include five districts. Located between the two small island Pura forms its own district.
In addition to two Malayo -Polynesian languages at least a dozen Papua languages are spoken in the district.
From 1999 to 2009 was Ansgerius Takalapeta Government President Alors. 2009 relieved him Simeon Thomas Pally.
