Alpaslan Eratlı

Alpaslan Eratlı ( born November 9, 1948 in Istanbul ) is a former Turkish football player. Through his many years of service for Fenerbahce he is very strongly associated with this club. On fan and club sides, he is regarded as one of the greatest players in the club's history. After the retirement of the Fenerbahçe legend Cemil Turan in the summer of 1980, he took over the captain's armband and carried them up to the end of his active playing career in the summer of 1983. Too, in the Turkish national team, he was repeatedly served as team captain. Eratlı former position was that of the libero, where he has also filled other defensive positions when needed. Eratlı began playing football in the street and played first as an amateur footballer in the İstanbul Amatör Futbol Ligi at Cerrahpaşa SK. In 1968 he moved to first division İstanbulspor and sat down quickly as a regular player. Here he played along with team-mates later as Cemil Turan and succeeded in 1970 in the Turkish national team. At the end of the season 1971/72 his club missed the league in the Süper Lig and dismounted in the TFF 1 Lig. Eratlı held the loyalty club and played for İstanbulspor one season in the Turkish second highest league.

After the direct re-emergence was not reached at İstanbulspor, Eratlı moved to Turkish club Fenerbahce tradition. Here he played ten seasons long and was during this time to a legendary player. Due to injury, he had to pause in the years 1977 and 1978 almost continuously.

At the end of the 1982/83 season Eratlı decided after Fenerbahçe won the Turkish football championship and its Double after a five year losing streak to end his career at the peak. So he finished after a farewell match his active playing career.

National

Eratlı was first nominated as part of the qualification for the 1972 European Championship for the Turkish selection. At the meeting on October 17, 1970 against the German national team, he made ​​his international debut. Subsequently, he counted up to his severe injury in 1977 to the regular players of the national team. Shortly before the end of his career he was nominated one last time for the national team in the summer of 1983 and gave the EM84 qualifier against the Albanian national resign.

Overall, he played 26 times for Turkey and contributed in recent encounters and the captain's armband. He also played four times in 1970 for the Turkish U -21
