Alphabetic Presentation Forms
The Unicode block Alphabetic Presentation Forms ( Alphabetic Presentation Forms, U FB00 to U FB4F ) contains characters that are not part of the actual characters inventory of languages, but are required only for typographical reasons in printed text, such as the ligatures in the Latin publication and the like in some other alphabets. Corresponding characters for the Arabic alphabet are in the blocks Arabic Presentation Forms- A Arabic Presentation Forms- B and, for top-to- bottom -written Chinese script example, there are some special forms of presentation in Unicode block vertical forms.
