Altamira, Tamaulipas

Altamira is a municipality in the southern Mexican state of Tamaulipas. It consists of the same town and county of the same name. The 162 628 inhabitants municipality (as of 2005) consists of 148 villages, of which the city of Miramar with 82 079 inhabitants, is the largest city. Location
