Criticism

Michael Edele of laut.de classifies the bond between Black Stone Cherry and Nickelback. Singer Brent Smith sorrow with his singing always that little bit extra. Albert Ranner of cdstarts.de kristisiert the mix of quieter ballads and harder songs: As a cotton ball with a hard core, therefore making a Shinedown not always easy between pretty good and bad to distinguish, however, outweighs the " Amaryllis " in addition this tiresome feeling all before somewhere fresh and have heard better. The album is only for the die-hard alternative rock fan.
