American Discovery Trail

The American Discovery Trail is a transcontinental long-distance hiking trail through the United States.

Course

Beginning at Cape Henlopen, Delaware, on the Atlantic Ocean in the same Cape Henlopen State Park, it traverses 15 states (Colorado, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, California, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, Ohio, Utah, West Virginia ) and ends after about 10,800 km ( 6800 miles ) at Cape Point Reyes in Point Reyes National Seashore, California.

Between Ohio and Colorado, the path in the northern part of Indiana, Illinois, Iowa and Nebraska, and a southern part by Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri and Kansas runs.
