Reception

Daniel Straub of laut.de writes: "The urgency and authenticity, which he puts into the songs with his voice, remain unique and show once again why the man rightly considered one of the greatest singers in the history of pop learns appreciation. "

Sophie Bischoff of motor.de is: "Not least affected by his weakened physical condition, Cash's voice has not lost but on the new album of force of violence. Its stunning presence is not lost to the musician in the face of his own death. Do not fear or sadness, but the joy at the end, at the exit and at the transience distinguishes the interpretation of the selected songs. "

Analyzed by Oliver Ding plattentests.de that the musicians used never push forward, but " donate artful economy ". Cash's confidence grow beyond the experience of suffering, his voice was of " brittle fervor ". The focus of the singers stand as the massive oak. Scarred from storms and drawn by lightning strikes, but wind and weather you could still harm it.
