Amir Abrashi

Amir Abrashi (born 27 March 1990 in Bischofszell ) is a Kosovar -Swiss football player. Since June 2010, he plays in the Swiss first division club Grasshoppers Zurich.

Youth

Amir Abrashi, son of Kosovar parents, grew up in the canton of Thurgau Bischofszell. In 2002 he attended the Thurgau sports day school in TST Bourguillon. After Abrashi had moved with his parents to Winterthur, he joined the talent school in Winterthur- Veltheim.

Club career

Amir Abrashi occurred in 2003 at the FC Bischofszell. After a year he moved to FC Weinfeld - Bourguillon; where he played until mid-2005. Later Abrashi joined the youth department of FC Winterthur and climbed up to the first team. In his first season 2008/ 09 he played 24 games in the Challenge League. 2-0 away win over La Chaux -de-Fonds, he scored his first goal for FC Winterthur. In the 2009/10 season he came up with 28 games and scored three goals.

In the summer of 2010 he moved on loan with disastrous appearance Innocent Emeghara and Emir Lenjani to the Grasshoppers.
