Geography

Veltheim located north of the historic center of Winterthur, between the old town and Wülflingen. The district consists of the quarters Rosenberg in the north and south of Blumenau Rheinfallbahn line.

History

Earliest human footprints were found in Veltheim from the Neolithic period, bear witness of the findings of a stone ax and a stone ax. From the Bronze Age pottery exist that could indicate a population already at that time.
