Bertschikon bei Attikon
Bertschikon was until December 31, 2013, municipality in the district of Winterthur in the canton of Zurich in Switzerland. Bertschikon merged on 1 January 2014 Wiesendangen.

The coat of arms Bertschikons was established in 1926. The seven stars refer to the seven original civil parishes. Two red star in the white bars represent the former civil parishes Zünikon and Gündlikon that were in Elgg church comrades, another five stars on a red background mean the other five who were in the canton of Thurgau Gachnang church comrades.
Geography
Bertschikon lies to the east within the community Wiesendangen and bordering the canton of Thurgau. The flachhüglige landscape serves with 70% mainly agricultural. The small forest area of 20 % is not carved up coherently and strong.

Economy
Agriculture is an important economic factor, but is Bertschikon slowly developed into a halbagrarischen village.
Traffic
The A1 Winterthur -St. Gallen and A7 Attikon - woman field and the railway line Winterhur - woman field of the Swiss Federal Railways traverse the local area. It is but due to the small number of inhabitants neither a motorway connection still a railway station. Bertschikon is accessible by bus.
History
In Ziegelacker traces of Roman settlements have been found.
Bertschikon 1255 first mentioned in documents as Bersinkon. For Gündlikon mention is saved as Gundilinchova in 1162.
Of the medieval lords the Habsburgs, Kyburgs and the monasteries of St. Gallen and Reichenau went Bertschikon in 1471 in Zurich rule over.
The existing 2013 community Bertschikon was formed from the 1926 civil parishes Bertschikon, Gundetswil, Gündlikon, Zünikon, Liebensberg, webs and the part of the Zurich Kefikon. Therefore, the 7 star stir in the former municipal arms.
