Hagenbuch

Hagenbuch is a municipality in the district of Winterthur in the canton of Zurich in Switzerland.

The municipality also includes the outer Wachten Kappel, Egghof, Oberschneit, Hagenstal, middle and lower snowing and snowing mountain.

From the municipality is 61.7 % is agricultural land, 28.3 % is forest, 5.8 % is built-up area and 3.9 % are used for transport, 0.4 % are waters.

The community Hagenbuch bordered to the north Frauenfeld (TG), to the east by Aadorf (TG), to the south by Elgg and to the west by Wiesendangen.

History

Hagenbuch was first mentioned in the year 856.

Public transportation

The municipality has two bus stops and is connected via the bus 834 from Frauenfeld, train station to Tänikon, Post of the Ostwind. Thus Hagenbuch is the only municipality in the canton of Zurich, which does not belong to the Zurich Transport Network, as the only public transportation line from Hagenbuch outside the CRVO drives.
