Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova

Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova Sergejewna (Russian Анастасия Сергеевна Павлюченкова; * July 3, 1991 in Samara, then Soviet Union) is a Russian tennis player.

Career

Pavlyuchenkova was at the age of six years of her athletic family (his father was an Olympic athlete in Canoeing, the mother swimmer ) introduced to the game of tennis. My favorite shot is the forehand ( longline ), her favorite pastime is playing on clay courts.

In December 2005, Pavlyuchenkova was a professional player. In 2006 she won the Australian Open ( Final victory against Caroline Wozniacki ) and U.S. Open ( against Tamira Paszek ) each title in the Junior Women. In 2007 she defended her Grand Slam title in Melbourne against Madison Brengle.

In doubles, she won the tournament in 2008 in the Moroccan Fez on the side of Cîrstea Sorana from Romania their first title on the WTA Tour. After their victory in the second round and Charlston collection in Madrid (with partner Lucie Šafářová ) she was 21 May 2012 at No. 45 with good results in 2013 (including the quarter-finals in Melbourne and Paris; knockout round at the U.S. Open ) reached them on September 16, with number 21 their highest ever position in the double ranking.

Your first four WTA tournament victories in single they won all on hard court, 2010 in Monterrey ( playoff victory against Daniela Hantuchova ) and Istanbul ( against Jelena Wesnina ) and in March 2011 and again in April 2013 in Monterrey.

In Cincinnati, she was defeated in 2010 in the semifinals Sharapova Maria in three sets. In Brisbane, where she defeated Petra Kvitová and Angelique Kerber in two sentences, she stood at the beginning of 2013 again in the finals of a WTA tournament. In the final, however, she had to give Serena Williams clearly beaten. Your fifth WTA title then won in May 2013 for the first time on clay. At the indoor tournament in Paris in early 2014, she defeated three top ten Spielerinnnen Kerber, Sharapova and Errani and won her sixth individual title on the tour.
