Anders Bergman

Anders Bergman ( born August 6, 1963) is a former Swedish professional ice hockey goaltender.

Career

Anders Bergman began his career as a hockey player in the junior department of Bollnäs IS. From there, the goalkeeper moved to the youth department of MoDo AIK, for the first team he in the 1982/83 season his debut in the Elitserien, the highest Swedish league, gave. In the 1983/84 season he had with his team's relegation to the second-class Division 1 accept from his team in the next season of the direct resurgence succeeded in the Elitserien. For the season 1988 /89 international joined within the Elitserien for Färjestad BK, with which he was runner-up in the 91 seasons 1989/90 and 1990 /. Internationally

For Sweden, Bergman took part in the junior level at the Junior World Championship in 1983. In the senior level, he stood in his country's squad at the 1987 World Championships and the Olympic Winter Games in Calgary in 1988. In addition, he represented Sweden in 1987 at the Canada Cup. In his three tournaments at senior level, he remained as a substitute goalkeeper in each case without use. At the 1987 World Championships he won the gold with Sweden at the Olympic Winter Games in 1988 the bronze medal.
