Andreas Dahl
Rolf Åke Andreas Dahl ( born June 6, 1984 in Hässleholm ) is a Swedish football player. The midfielder, who made his debut in the Swedish national team in 2008, left the same year his country towards Danish Superliga.
Career
Teens
Dahl played in his youth at IFK Hässleholm. There he fell to the charge of the Svenska Fotbollförbundet and went through as a consequence the number of youth selections of the Swedish National Association. In December 2000 he was transferred for a fee of £ 300,000 to Coventry City. Without to have come in the Premier League action, he returned in 2001 to Sweden.
Breakthrough in Sweden
In Helsingborgs IF Dahl first came mainly only as a substitute in the Allsvenskan for use, but still was able to play in the Swedish Under-21 team. On 20 November 2002, the 18 -year-old made his debut as a substitute for Jon Jönsson from the 65 minutes in the national colors, as the selection team split 1-1 draw by the Czech Under-21 national team. In the following years, however, he managed to retain wider audience of junior selection, was not in the squad for the U- 21 Championship 2004.
In the 2005 he succeeded Dahl breakthrough for his club and he was able to fight for a regular place. Also in the U- 21 team, he established himself as third in the qualifying group behind the Croatian and Hungarian youth teams play- off matches and thus to participate in the U-21 European Championship in 2006 were missed. In summer 2007 it was announced that he will leave at end of season and Sweden has signed a three year contract with the Danish club FC Nordsjælland. In parallel, he played himself into the notebook of coach Lars Lagerback and arrived 13 January 2008 in a 1-0 victory over Costa Rica during an American tour the Swedish national selection for his international debut. He came on in the second half for Anders Svensson.
Going abroad and return to Sweden
In March 2008, Dahl made his debut for his new employer in the Super League and was able to fix as the root force in the squad. His first league goal for FC Nordsjælland he succeeded penultimate matchday of the season 2007 /08 with a 1-1 draw against Odense BK, when he was already an early lead equalized in the ninth minute game by Jonas Borring. As a regular player in the Super League Dahl came back in early 2009 in the Swedish national team. In one consisting of players from the northern European leagues national team he reached the side of the debutants Rasmus Elm, Gustav Svensson and Adam Johansson in the 2:3 defeat against the national team of the United States for his third international cap. By the end of the season he played 24 of 33 league games in 2008/ 09, from which he graduated with the club as a table of eight. In the summer of 2009, he decided nevertheless to return to Sweden. In June, the defensive player signed a contract with three and a half years of operation in Hammarby IF.
