Andreas Hölzl

Andreas Hölzl ( born March 16, 1985 in Kitzbühel) is an Austrian football player at the position of midfielder. Since 2008 he plays for SK Sturm Graz in the Austrian Football Bundesliga.

Career

Andreas Hölzl who likes to play at right midfield, joined in 2003 by the Bundesliga youth development center Tyrol to FC Wacker Tirol. In his first season he helped FC Wacker Tirol champion in the First Division and so promotion to the Bundesliga. For the season 2004 /05 he was initially loaned out to SV Wörgl, but still came back during the season to FC Wacker Tirol and came to 12 inserts. His debut in the Austrian Bundesliga he gave on 25 September 2004 against the Admiralty, the match went 0-2 and lost Hölzl was replaced in the 74th minute against Olushola Aganun.

The following season, he had a regular place in the offensive of FC Wacker Tirol and narrowly escaped relegation with the club. Hölzl 2008/ 09 moved from Innsbruck to SK Sturm Graz after the FC Wacker Innsbruck was relegated from the Bundesliga.
