Andrej Gaćina

Andrej Gaćina ( born May 21, 1986 in Zadar, SR Croatia, SFR Yugoslavia) is a Croatian tennis players. It was 2011 European Champion in doubles.

Career

For the first time in international appearance came Andrej Gaćina at the 2004 World Junior Championships when he reached the semi-finals along with Tomislav Zubcic (Croatia). Since 2007, he has been nominated for all six World Championships (2012 ), but where he never got near any medal ranks. At the European Championships, he has represented since 2005. Here he was in 2007 with the Croatian team in second place. In 2011, he was with his partner Marcos Freitas (Portugal ) European Champion in doubles.

2008 and 2012, he qualified for participation in the Olympic Games.

German Bundesliga

With several European clubs Andrej Gaćina was active, usually he gave one-year guest performances. With the Belgian club Royal Villette Charleroi he played in the Champions League, with several German clubs in the Bundesliga.
