Andrea Corsini ( Andreas Corsini ) ( born November 30, 1301/1302 in Florence, † January 6, 1374 in Fiesole) was a bishop of the diocese of Fiesole.

Life

He came from an aristocratic family Corsini from Florence. At the age of fifteen, he joined the Order of the Carmelites at Florence. In 1324 he was ordained a priest and sent to Paris to study at the Sorbonne, after which he studied in Avignon. After he returned to Florence in 1347, there broke a plague, and the people began to hold him as a prophet and miracle worker.
