Andrew Ebbett

Andrew Ebbett ( born January 2, 1983 in Vernon, British Columbia) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is since July 2013 when the Pittsburgh Penguins in the National Hockey League contract.

Career

Andrew Ebbett fell in 2001 at the age of 18 years at the Salmon Arm Silverbacks in the British Columbia Hockey League. After 84 scorer points - including 45 goals - he joined at the beginning of the study period after Michigan. During his studies, the striker played a total of four years for the University of Michigan in the National Collegiate Athletic Association before he first ran aground in the American Hockey League in 2006.

After two successful years in the AHL the Canadians had the opportunity three games in the National Hockey League to complete for the Anaheim Ducks, without ever having been previously selected in the NHL Entry Drafts. At the beginning of the 2007/ 08 Ebbett was the farm team of the Ducks, the Portland Pirates, obliged. Since it ahead of the 2008/09 season but initially could not prevail at the Ducks themselves, sent him this pre-season to their new AHL farm team Iowa Chops. In the course of the season the Ducks beorderten him but then in their NHL team, where he completed the bulk of the playing time.

For the Anaheim Ducks, he completed 51 NHL games and reached 32 scorer points. In October 2009 he has been advised of the Ducks on the waiver list and obliged by the Chicago Blackhawks. After ten games and a goal for the Blackhawks, he was put back on the waiver list. The Minnesota Wild finally elected him on 21 November 2009. Early July 2010, he moved to the Phoenix Coyotes, who put him in the San Antonio Rampage.

July 1, 2011 Ebbett signed a contract for one year with the Vancouver Canucks. In July 2013 he signed a two -year contract with the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Canadians will play mainly for their farm team, the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
