Andriy Skvaruk

Andrij Skwaruk (Ukrainian Андрій Скварук, English transcription Andriy Skvaruk, . Born March 9, 1967 in Schnyriw, Rajon Brody, Lviv Oblast ) is a retired Ukrainian hammer thrower.

At the World Athletics Championships in Stuttgart in 1993 still failed in qualifying, he was at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta fourth and the silver medal won at the 1997 IAAF World Championships in Athens.

A fifth place finish at the 1999 World Championships in Seville, followed by a tenth place finish at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney. Also on the fifth place he came at the 2001 World Championships in Edmonton and the European Athletics Championships in Munich in 2002. At the 2003 World Championships in Paris / Saint- Denis, he finished fourth at the 2005 World Championships in Helsinki tenth.

His personal best of 82.62 meters, he scored in Koncha Zaspa ( Kiev) on 27 April 2002.
