Andy Burrows

Called Andrew William Burrows Andy (* June 30, 1979 in Winchester, England ) is a British musician. He became famous with the band Razorlight.

Life & musical career

2004 Andy Burrows came as a substitute for the original drummer Christian Smith - Pancorvo the band Razorlight, to which he belonged until spring 2009. During this time he released his first solo album The Colour of My Dreams, on which he set poems to music of a friend. After his departure from Razorlight he played as I Am Arrows a an album that came on the market in 2010. Originally planned as a solo project, Burrows expanded the lineup later on five band members, including his brother Ben heard. Since 2009, Burrows is also a permanent member of the American band We Are Scientists, with whom he recorded the album Barbara (published in 2010).

Together with Tom Smith, the lead singer of the band Editors, Burrows published in late 2011, the Christmas album Funny Looking Angels. On the album they play their own compositions as well as various cover versions (including Only You by Yazoo and Wonderful Life by Black). The following year, his second solo album Company, on which he played all instruments, as well as the soundtrack to the children's film The Snowman & the Snowdog appeared.
