Angela Christ

Angela Anna Christian ( born March 6, 1989 in Eindhoven ) is a Dutch football goalkeeper, who plays in the Eredivisie for FC Utrecht since the 2007 /08 season.

Club career

As a child, Angela played Christ in the LEW sv. Even with 14 years tending the PSV fan in Hoofdklasse goal of ODC from Boxtel. In her first year in the then top division in the Dutch women's football, it was voted the best goalkeeper. Since ODC relegation despite their good performances, she moved to SV Saestum. Here she was again in her first season best goalkeeper in the league. In the following season 2004 /05 they won with Saestum both the Dutch Cup and the Supercup, but the individual title she lost to Nadia Olthuis. With Saestum they also ended the 2005/06 season with the Langerringen the league title. After three years in Zeist, she moved in 2007 to the newly founded Eredivisie for FC Utrecht. Here she won the KNVB Cup in 2010 and was voted the best goalkeeper of the Eredivisie. In the season 2010/11 they won the Supercup with Utrecht.

National

Christ was a regular goalkeeper of the Dutch U-19 national team. In 2009 she was appointed to the cadre of the senior national team and made his debut on 13 July 2009 against South Africa. It belonged to the squad from the Netherlands is the European Championship finals in Finland, in which the woman shaft penetrated to the semifinals. Until April 2011, she came four times in the Oranje Oranje used.
