The Anibare Bay is the only bay in the east of the island nation of Nauru. This offers the most attractive touristic aspect of Nauru.

The same beach is covered with white coral sand. It is located almost entirely in the district Anibare. The two capes which form the ends of more than two kilometers long beach, belong to the district Ijuw in the north and in the south district Meneng.

The Anibare Bay is the best place on the island to surf or swim. This is a bit risky, as a heavy surf and dangerous underwater currents prevail. The diversity of local marine flora, however, is a rarity. Maybe it is so well preserved because Nauru is touristy yet not well developed.

The bay is next to the Buada Lagoon in island inside the only major attraction of the island. Therefore there is the only hotel on the island, the Menen Hotel, also in close proximity. In 2000 a harbor was built in the bay, the harbor Anibare which priority is to promote fishing.
