Anita Ward

Anita Ward ( born December 20, 1956 in Memphis, Tennessee ) is an American singer.

Career

After a degree in psychology, she worked as a teacher before she was taken from the producer Frederick Knight under contract. Knight offered the singer at the disco song Ring My Bell, which he had originally written for Stacy Lattisaw. Ward did not like the song nor the disco genre, however, could change his mind and took on 1979 Ring My Bell. The song reached both in the U.S. and UK # 1 on the singles chart in Germany and Austria each 3rd place and in Switzerland 5th place disputes with Frederick Knight and a car accident, however, led to the fact that Anita Ward was able to continue her career is not successful.
