Anke Spoorendonk

Anke Spoorendonk born Hinrichsen ( born September 21, 1947 in Busdorf / Bustrup ) is a German politician ( SSW). Since 12 June 2012, she is Schleswig-Holstein Minister of Justice, Culture and Europe in the Cabinet Albigensian, as well as second deputy prime minister.

Life and career

Anke Spoorendonk belongs to the Danish minority in South Schleswig. After graduation in 1966 at the Danish School Duborg - Skolen in Flensburg, she studied German and history in Copenhagen and graduated in 1976 as cand mag. from. Subsequently, she completed an internship and was from 1977 as a teacher at the Duborg - Skolen in Flensburg active.

Anke Spoorendonk is widowed and has two children.

Anke Spoorendonk is a member of SSW and belongs since 1992 to the Board of the NW District Association Flensburg- country and the SSW- state board.

Member of Parliament

From 1990 to 1996 Anke Spoorendonk was deputy district council of the district of Schleswig -Flensburg.

Since 1996 she is a member of the Landtag of Schleswig -Holstein to exempt from the five-percent hurdle SSW. Here she was until 2009 chairman of the SSW- parliamentary group. When the SSW in the regional elections in 2009 with four deputies reached for the first time since 1950 faction strength, she was elected Group Chairman.

Under her leadership, the SSW agreed to submit to an SPD-Green minority government after the state elections in the spring of 2005. As Heide Simonis but could unite no majority support for the prime minister election on 17 March 2005 in four ballots, Anke Spoorendonk withdrew the offer of toleration for the SSW.

Because of their willingness to tolerate a red-green state government under Heide Simonis, Anke Spoorendonk received an anonymous death threat in March 2005. Then she stood for several weeks under police protection.

Anke Spoorendonk always pulled over the national list in the state legislature. Even with the state elections in Schleswig- Holstein in 2012, she was the top candidate of their party. After the participation in government of the SSW in the red- green - blue coalition Spoorendonk Minister was in the Cabinet Albig of Justice, Europe, and culture. It is thus currently next to Bremen's Senator for Justice Günthner (SPD), the only one in the Federal Republic, which holds this office as a non lawyer. Even before it had with the political scientist Gerd Walter and the Diploma in Public Administration Uwe Döring two non-lawyers the management of Kiel Department of Justice held. She is the first politician with SSW- ministerial post in the history of the Party since 1948.

Honors

On 3 March 2008 Anke Spoorendonk was appointed by Queen Margrethe of " Knight of the Dannebrog ".
