Anke Wischnewski

Anke Vishnevsky ( born January 5, 1978 in Annaberg -Buchholz ) is a German luger.

Anke Vishnevsky starts for the WSC Erzgebirge Oberwiesenthal. She celebrated her first World Cup victory in Altenberg 2004. At the 2005 World Championships in Park City she finished in third place. In 2007 she became Vice World Champion in Innsbruck- Igls and celebrated their biggest success. At the German Championships 2010 in Winterberg they surprisingly won the title. At the Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver in 2010 it ranked 5th to kick off the 2012/2013 season, she won the race in Innsbruck -Igls. More podium finishes followed, including at the European Championship in 2013 evaluated as World Cup race in Oberhof, where she finished in third place. At the World Cup 2013 in Whistler she missed the podium in 4th place just. Anke Vishnevsky 's Sports soldier of the Bundeswehr and is managed by the Sports Promotion Group of the Bundeswehr in Frankenberg / Saxony.
