Ansegisus (archbishop of Sens)

Ansegis († November 25 883 ) was 871-883 Archbishop of Sens.

Life

Ansegis, a Benedictine monk, abbot of St. -Michel Beauvais and from 871 Archbishop of Sens. was He was a confidant of the West Frankish king Charles the Bald, who repeatedly entrusted him with embassies to the Pope.
