Antonio Calle

José Antonio Sánchez de la Calle, short Calle ( born October 17, 1978 in Madrid) is a Spanish footballer who División in Albacete Balompié in the Spanish Segunda B since January 2011, plays.

Playing career

Amateur clubs

A native from Madrid Calle Antonio started his career as a footballer in 1996 in B- team of Rayo Vallecano. Then he came across the amateur club CD Fuencarral to the second representation of Atlético Madrid. But there he failed and went after half a year to the Colegio Amorós. More Stations for Calle Antonio were the FC Talavera and CD Onda, where he spent the next two years.

Professional football

In 2001, Antonio Calle moved to second division promoted Xerez. For the second time in his career he played in the Segunda División. With Xerez he narrowly missed out on promotion to the first division. After three missed climbs the striker went in 2004 to league rivals Recreativo Huelva. With the Andalusians he managed 2005/2006 but still move up to the excellence. The happiness did not last long, however. Already after the first round of the 2006/2007 season he left the club again, because he was no longer used and returned to the second division, where he played for half a year for Albacete Balompie.

The last years

In summer 2007, finally signed a contract with Calle Premiership relegation Gimnàstic de Tarragona. There he could again get a regular place and met four times in 28 games after a long time. After the season he left the club but already again and signed with league rivals Deportivo Xerez. In Xerez he seldom came over the full distance to use and could mostly ran as a substitute. Nevertheless, he was able to achieve eight goals in 29 games and had thus its role in the rise in the Primera División. However, he left the club and moved to league rivals FC Girona. There he came only in the second half for the course and joined in summer 2010 again within the Segunda División. This time he joined the recently relegated from La Liga Real Valladolid. After four goals in the first three games of the season, he was unable to reach another goal more and eventually lost his starting place.

For this reason he moved in winter 2011 to the Spanish third division side Albacete Balompié.
