Apt Records

Apt Records was an American record label that is exclusively published as a subsidiary of ABC Records in the years 1958-1970 singles. Apt is an abbreviation for the parent companies American Broadcasting Company - United Paramount Theatres.

The singles were Am- Par Records Corporation pressed in the Group's own company, including each promotion expenses for the DJs of the radio stations.

The label started in the late 1950s with re-releases of White Doo -wop groups like the Elegants and Vince Castro with the Tonettes, which were re-branded as part of the twist- boom. Soon changed the genre with Johnny Kidd, Lonnie Donegan, Joe South, the late Bill Haley, Ed Bruce and Tams on Country -influenced pop.
