Argol, Finistère

Argol ( Argol Breton ) is a commune in the region of Brittany in the far west of the department of Finistère with 942 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011).

Geography

The municipality is located on the peninsula of Crozon, near the Atlantic coast in the Regional Natural Park of Armorica (French Parc naturel régional d' Armorica ). Brest is located 20 kilometers north-west, Quimper 30 km southeast of Paris and about 500 km to the east.

At Le Faou and Châteaulin are the next departures of the highway E 60 (Nantes- Brest) and, inter alia, in Châteaulin there is a local train station.

At Brest there is a regional airport.
