Crozon
Crozon ( Kraozon Breton ) is a commune and the chief town on the Crozon peninsula in the Finistère department of Brittany in north-western region.
Geography
The place Crozon with an area of 80.37 km ² and 7751 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) is growing along with the port and seaside resort Parthenay ( bret. Morgad ) with its accessible only from the sea grottoes.
By 1967, there were on the peninsula with the track Châteaulin - Crozon- Camaret -sur -Mer also a railway connection ( Réseau Breton ).
Climate
The climate of the Peninsula - situated between Brest and Douarnenez - is still significantly affected by the Gulf Stream.
