Ariel Zuckermann

Ariel Zuckermann (born 1973 in Israel) is a conductor and flutist with a focus in Europe.

Career

Ariel Zuckermann initially studied flute with Paul Meisen and András Adorjan at the Musikhochschule in Munich. He continued his studies with Alain Marion and Aurèle Nicolet. His conducting with Jorma Panula, he began at the Royal College of Music Stockholm. In May 2004, he resigned his conducting diploma from with Bruno Weil at the Musikhochschule in Munich.

As a flutist is Ariel Zuckermann more numerous national and international competitions. Since 2002 he has been a soloist of the renowned ensemble " The World Quintet" (formerly "Kol Simcha " ), with whom he completed recordings and concerts worldwide. Way he played under the baton of renowned conductors such as Lorin Maazel, Daniel Barenboim, Zubin Mehta and Riccardo Muti concerts with the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Munich Philharmonic, the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and the Bavarian State Opera in Munich. As a chamber musician and soloist Ariel Zuckermann is active in Europe, Israel and Asia.

As a conductor he founded in March 2001, the Hermes Orchestra in Munich, consisting primarily of senior members of various German orchestras, professors at the Munich Academy of Music and soloists. With this orchestra still connects him close cooperation.

Ariel Zuckermann was at its chosen for the 2003/2004 season as assistant conductor Iván Fischer Budapest Festival Orchestra. In close cooperation with Iván Fischer he acquired not only by rehearsing a large Dirigierrepertoire but also conducted concerts with the Budapest Festival Orchestra.

Since January 2007 he has been chief conductor of the Georgian Chamber Orchestra Ingolstadt. In this capacity he has worked with artists such as Zoltán Kocsis, Tabea Zimmermann, Heinrich Schiff and Diana Damrau.

Other conducting engagements include concerts and recordings, among others with the Orquesta Sinfónica de Euskadi, Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, Basel Symphony Orchestra, Bach Collegium Munich, Israel Symphony Orchestra Rishon Lezion -, Budapest Festival Orchestra, Saarland State Theater, Munich Symphony, Hofer Symphoniker and State Philharmonic of the Rhineland -Palatinate.
