Arnold River (New Zealand)

The Arnold River is a river in Grey District in the West Coast region on the South Island of New Zealand. He is the outflow of Lake Brunner, which he connects with the Grey River. The Arnold River rises near Moana at Lake Brunner and then flows for 20 km to the north. It ends just before the town of Brunner, about 15 km from the Tasman Sea in the Grey River. The river is used for whitewater kayaking and trout fishing.

The hydropower plant Arnold Power Station is located near the mouth of the Grey River. It is operated by TrustPower who want to also build another power plant on the river.
