Arrentela is one of the two Portuguese Freguesias in the past in the District of Lisbon city Seixal on the Setúbal peninsula on the south side of the Tagus.

In Arrentela lived on 30 June 2011 28 648 inhabitants - Arrentelenses - on an area of 10.2 km ². Your patron saint is the Virgin of Nossa Senhora da Consolação.
