Arthur Dion Hanna

Arthur Dion " A.D. " Hanna ( born March 7, 1928) from 2006 to 2010, the Governor General of the Bahamas.

Hanna has been involved in the 1950s politically for the Bahamas. As a member of the Progressive Liberal Party, he represented the electorate of Ann 's Town in the lower house of parliament from 1960 to 1992 during this period., He held various cabinet posts, including from 1967 as Deputy Prime Minister until he resigned after corruption allegations in 1984.

On 1 February 2006, Hanna was appointed the seventh Governor-General of the Bahamas.
