Ashley Hicklin

Ashley Hicklin (born 28 December 1985) is a singer-songwriter and composer from England.

Life and career

Ashley Hicklin grew up in the North East of England, in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. At the age of 14 he began to Open Stage evenings in the pub his parents' act.

At the Leeds College of Music, he studied classical music. Vocals, guitar, piano, drums and clarinet are his instruments. In addition, he received training as an orchestral arranger and wrote compositions for the London Sinfonietta, the Apollo Saxophone Quartet and the Goldberg Ensemble.

In 2008, Ashley Hicklin from CEO Europe of EMI Publishing, Peter end, taken as a composer and lyricist under contract. For the Swedish talent show " Pop Idol", he composed the song for Johan Palm Emma -Lee, who landed in the local charts. For the first album of Palm, he composed more songs.

In collaboration with the teams of Skunk Anansie, Leona Lewis, James Morrison, Marit Larsen, Amy Winehouse and the Sugababes, he gained further practical experience.

When Euro Vision Song Contest 2010 Hicklin co-author of the Belgian contribution of Tom Dice Me And My Guitar, the 6th place overall was reached. With the producer Franz Plasa Ashley Hicklin took his debut album on the home studios. The album was released by Parry country ferryhouse productions in October 2010.

Live performances

In the summer of 2010 Ashley Hicklin occurred in the open-air tour opening for Ich Ich. On September 23, he presented his music at Warner Music at the Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg.
