Association of Language Testers in Europe

The Association of Language Testers in Europe (ALTE ) is an organization of providers of foreign language exams. It has 33 members and can check 26 languages ​​. The concept was designed in 1989 by the University of Cambridge and University of Salamanca. In 1990, the first meeting of the Association held with eight founding members.
