Ã…storp Municipality

Åstorp is a municipality (in Swedish kommun ) in the southern Swedish province of Skåne County and the historical province Scania. The main town of the municipality is Åstorp.

In Åstorp is one of the starting points of the Skåneleden, a 750- kilometer trail through Skåne.

Attractions

The Gyllenbielkeska Hospitalet in Kvidinge dates from 1729. It once served as home for the elderly, the interior is largely original condition. In the hospital building also houses a school museum.

In Nyvångs Gruvmuseum the history of the largest coal mine in Skåne is presented, which was closed in 1966.

Tomarp Kungsgård Castle in Kvidinge originates in the core of the 13th century and was rebuilt several times. Today it is among other things a gallery.
