Atabey Çiçek

Atabey Çiçek ( born July 24, 1995, Ankara) is a Turkish football player.

Career

Association

Çiçek began playing football in the youth of Gençlerbirliği Ankara and received in winter 2011 a professional contract. He continued to play mainly for the reserve team of his club, but was eligible to play for the first team and also participated in the training sessions of the professionals. In the summer of 2012, he then played for the professionals in nachsaisonalen Spor -Toto Cup. In the 2012/13 season he reached with the reserve team the final of the TFF A2 Ligi, the League of reserve teams, and was subject here with his team in the reserve team Ankaraspor. With the 2013/14 season, he was more frequently considered in the planning team of professionals. His professional debut was in the league game on September 21, 2013 against Torku Konyaspor. For the next second half gave him his club to the second division Boluspor.

National

Çiçek began his international career with a commitment to the Turkish U-16 national team and then went through the most ages of the Turkish national teams.

With the Turkish U-19 national team, he participated in the Mediterranean Games in 2013. Here he reached the tournament finals with his team. In the final, they lost the Moroccan U-19 national team and was silver medalist.

He also played in 2013 for the second selection of the Turkish national team.
