Atlantic hurricane season

Tropical cyclones form in the Atlantic Ocean usually between early June and late November, so the duration of the Atlantic hurricane season is set to the period from June 1 to November 30, by the National Hurricane Center (NHC ). The NHC is defined by the World Meteorological Organization Regional Specialized Meteorological Centre ( RSMC ).
