Atlantic Southeast Airlines

Atlantic Southeast Airlines, Inc. (ASA ) was an American regional airline based in Atlanta. She was in full possession of SkyWest, Inc. and flew exclusively for Delta Airlines under the Delta Connection paint.

History

On March 12, 1979 Atlantic Southeast Airlines, Inc. was founded with headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. Flight operations started on 27 June 1979 a Twin Otter from Atlanta to Columbus. 1981 ASA received its first Embraer EMB 110 Bandeirante, followed by a de Havilland Canada DHC- seventh 1982 Atlantic Southeast Airlines, Inc. went public.

1983 bought Atlantic Southeast Airlines South Eastern Airlines and 1984 ASA was one of the first regional airline partner of Delta Connection. August 15, 2005 Delta Airlines offered the Atlantic Southeast Airlines of SkyWest, Inc. for purchase. On 8 September 2005, the acquisition was completed and closed at the same time a new codeshare agreement for ASA.

Effective 1 January 2012 merged with Atlantic Southeast Airlines ExpressJet Airlines under their name and put one 's own company.
