Atlas Blue

Atlas Blue was a Moroccan low-cost airline based in Marrakech and a subsidiary of Royal Air Maroc.

History

Atlas Blue was founded on 28 May 2004 and adopted in the same year charter flights to France on a single Boeing 737-400. A further five Boeing 737- 400s were acquired by the Royal Air Maroc to the offer by flights to Belgium, Germany, Italy and the UK to expand. In March 2006, the fleet was expanded by an Airbus A321 -200.

After the takeover by Royal Air Maroc in 2009, the dissolution of the brand Atlas Blue was decided. The Company will operate in the future in the name and appearance of the Royal Air Maroc routes in their network.

Objectives

Royal Air Maroc has taken over all flights from Atlas Blue. Atlas Blue joined the route network of the Royal Air Maroc airports of Tangier, Al Hoceima, Fez, Oujda, Agadir, Nador and Marrakech each other and to several destinations in Europe.
