Aurélien Joachim

Aurélien Joachim ( born August 10, 1986 in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg ) is a Luxembourgian - Belgian footballer.

Career

Association

Aurélien Joachim played a long time for Belgian clubs. With the football he had started in a club in Rossignol. About then the club FC Le Lorrain Arlon he went to the youth department of Royal Excelsior Virton. He subsequently joined the youth team of Excelsior Mouscron, before he returned to Royal Excelsior Virton. He was taken there in the first team in 2005.

In early 2006 he went to Germany and played for the second team of the second division VfL Bochum. After he could not prevail there ( within the calendar year 2006, only 17 appearances ), he moved into the winter break of the season 2006/ 07 in the second team of the former Bundesliga club Alemannia Aachen. There, too, Joachim could barely fight for a regular place.

In the summer of 2007 he returned to Belgium and played for Entente Sportive henceforth Jamoigne. After only half a year in which he came only to use one, he then went to Luxembourg to FC Differdange 03 From there he moved to the 2011/12 season to F91 Dudelange.

Beginning September 2012 joined the national team as a professional to the Dutch first division side Willem II Tilburg. After the season 2012/2013 and the relegation of his club Willem II Tilburg, he signed a contract with RKC Waalwijk.

Since 2005, Aurélien Joachim is for the national team of his native land in use.

Achievements

Aurélien Joachim was in the 2011/12 season with 19 goals in his club 's top scorer F91 Dudelange and instrumental in winning the double in 2012.

At the end of the season he was voted Footballer of the Year in Luxembourg.
