Austin & Ally

Austin & Ally is an American youth sitcom that aired for the first time December 2, 2011 at the sender Disney Channel. It was developed by Kevin Kopelow and Heath Seifert, who were already involved in the production of Sonny with a Chance and JONAS LA.

A crossover between Austin & Ally and Jessie, Jessie Austin & Ally & All Star New Year, was broadcast in late 2012, whereby the two series play in the same series universe.

Action

The series revolves around the unequal pairing of the two protagonists. Ally is a songwriter, but suffers from severe stage fright, which prevents them from appearing in public. After Austin has happened to hear one of their songs, he refers to that and the video is on the internet sensation. Finally, to ally the two, and from then form a team of singers and songwriters.

• Penny Dawson (Julia Campbell) is Ally's mother. She is on an expedition to Africa, where she takes care of monkeys. They can be seen for the first time at the beginning of the second season ( episode backups & Breakups ), with a video chat with her daughter. You kerht back from Africa in the following Chapters & Choices ( 2x10 ).
• Kira Starr ( Kiersey Clemons ) is the daughter of Jimmy Starr, what they concealed at first, when she was cast in Austin's music video, so as not to influence the decision. She initially repulsive mouth odor, which is but disappeared later. You will subsequently Girlfriends & Girlfriends ( 2x08 ) Austins girlfriend, who is leaving them shortly afterwards. Shortly after Jimmy Star knows that his daughter is going out with Austin, Kira and Austin separate.

United States

The first season was to consist of 13 episodes originally, their number was increased in September 2011 to 21. While the new sitcom Jessie same series universe is broadcast weekdays at 19.45 clock, Austin & Ally gets equal time on the weekend. In the new season, different transmission times apply.

Soundtrack

During a commercial for the song " Heard It on the Radio" Ross Lynch announced that a soundtrack for the series was in development. The song list was unveiled on July 20, 2012. The album was released on September 11, 2012 the market.
