Australia at the 1900 Summer Olympics

Australia took part in Paris, France at the Olympic Summer Games 1900. Most Olympic historians separate the records of Australia of which the United Kingdom.

Australia was represented by two athletes. Both won a medal in every event in which they participated. Frederick Lane won two gold medals in swimming and Stan Rowley a gold medal, which was not recognized because he competed in the mixed team of the United Kingdom, and also three bronze medals in athletics.

Non- Olympic competitions

Donald Mackintosh was a professional shooter from Melbourne. He traveled through Europe and participated in a number of traditional competitions. He won the '' Prix Centenaire de Paris '' with 22 victories before the Spaniards Marquis de Villancosa. He reached the third place in the Grand Prix d'Exposition with 18 kills. The International Olympic Committee does not recognize this as an olympic competition.
