Austromoine

Stremonius (French Austremoine ) was the first bishop of Auvergne. His ( applicable only in the diocese of Clermont ) patronage is the 8th of November. He was one of seven bishops consecrated men who were sent by Gregory of Tours ( 538-594 ) at the time of the Emperor Decius, so in the years 249-251 to the mission to Gaul, where he located on a 5th from the century Passio of Saturninus of Toulouse relates.
