AutoC Park Randers

The Autoc Park Randers ( formerly: Randers Stadium and Essex Park Randers ) is the home of the Danish football club Randers FC. Randers is located in the Region Midtjylland in Jutland. The venue offers 12,000 spectators; internationally it is approved for 6,114 fans. In 1961 opened under the name Randers Stadium, 2006, three of the four stands were completely rebuilt. Only on the rank of the visiting fans were uncovered standing. The naming rights bought the investment company Essex. Architect of the building was C. F. Møller. The three new grandstands are covered and equipped with VIP boxes. In summer 2006, the stadium received a soil heating and irrigation system. On the northern grandstand was installed a 37 square meter video wall in October 2007.

On 6 June 2007, the American rock band Aerosmith appeared before 23,000 fans at the stadium. In the summer of 2009, the Randers FC scored in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League at Hamburger SV. After a 4-0 away victory of the HSV Randers FC won the return game in Hamburg 1-0.

2011 ran out of the sponsorship agreement on the naming rights to the investment company Essex. On April 18 of the year the club Randers FC announced the new name. The stadium is up to the summer 2015, the name Autoc Park Randers, according to a local car dealer carry.
