Avon is a city in Lorain County, Ohio, United States. In the 2000 census, the city had 11,446 inhabitants.

History

In the seventh Township the 16th row in the Western Reserve pursued in 1814, the first permanent residents, led from the Montgomery County in New York, coming from Wilbur Cahoon.
