Ax-les-Thermes
Ax- les -Thermes is a commune with 1348 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the Ariege, near the border with Andorra. It is the capital and largest municipality in the canton of Ax- les -Thermes in the arrondissement of Foix, Ariège department. The place is known for its thermal baths.

Ax- les -Thermes is located at an altitude of 720 m at the confluence of the Ariège, Oriège and Lauze.

Due to its location in the Pyrenees below Ax 3 Domaines was the place seven times and six times objective starting point of a tour -de- France stage; most recently at the 12th stage of the Tour de France 2010.
