Azad (Rapper)

Azad (* November 24, 1973 in Sanandaj, Iran; civil Azad Azadpour ) is a German rapper of Kurdish origin. He lives in Frankfurt am Main and also grew up there.

Biography

Azad came as Kurdish refugee child to Germany. In 1984 he first came in contact with hip-hop, first with breakdancing. Then followed developments in the Graffiti area, with the noise, beatboxing, Cutten and producing.

In 1989, he joined, at that time still under the name Azazin, the group Cold -N- Locco, which consisted of D-Flame and the DJs and producers A-Bomb and Combad. 1990 Named one around in Asiatic Warriors.
