B12 (Band)
B12 is the name of a band and a record label from the UK that publish IDM-/Electronica-Musik.
B12 Recordings was initially a record label, founded by Mike Golding and Steve Rutter, who was a focal point for the publication of electronica and IDM in the early 1990s. A major part of the publications produced the label owner under various pseudonyms (for example Musicology, Redcell, 2001 Infamix or Cmetric ), but there were also publications of stasis (Steve Pickton ) or As One ( Kirk Degiorgio ).
Under the band name B12 later released two albums, one of which in the trend-setting Artificial Intelligence series and one EP and several compilation contributions for Warp Records.
In March 2005, B12 played in London for the first time in eight years a live concert.
